Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre 2019 – A great Success Thanks to YOU

Our two nights of Murder Mysteries, on Friday, September 27th & Saturday, September 28th, were a great success. With 200+ attendees enjoying the delicious food (thanks to the Peachland Ladies Auxiliary) and hilarious acting from our talented actors: Dave Collins, Debra Kelly, Yvonne Moritz, Tanya Northcott, Moyra Baster, Nick Lloyd, Madeleine Nixon, Rod MacIntosh and Rick Tench. Thanks to our dazzling director Chad Coutts and our marvelous MC Rocky Rocksborough-Smith. Our audio technicians Vince Boyko and Keith Thom ensured everyone could laugh at the actors’ comments. A special thanks also to Peachland Pharmacy for assisting us in the sale of tickets to the many Peachland residents and their friends. Thanks to you, we managed to raise $715 for Polio vaccinations world-wide and yet to be determined, funds for our youth projects. This event would not have taken place without the many tireless hours and dedication of our committee Chair Madeleine Nixon who, from start to finish, ensured the many details for this event were looked after with the help of the committee members Jane Tench, Wendy Howard, Gail Abernathy and Linda Metcalfe. Below are some photos from the two evenings. Just click on a photo to view a larger image.

Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre 2018

Our Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre event on Saturday, September 29th was a great success.  Everyone had a  fantastic time with 106 attending.  Tickets sold out a week before the event and there was a waiting list.  Maybe we could fit more in next year!
Cast members included our Rotarians Chris Scowen as Sherlocke Holmes, Moira Baxter as Camilla Perez, and Madeleine Nixon as Simon Decree.  A big thanks also to the Master Organizer, our very own Wendy Howard.
Funds raised from this event will be used for the purchase of  appliances and a TV in the common room of the Peachland new Seniors Centre residence.  Here are some photos from the event:
