The Rotary Club of Peachland invites the public to an annual Spring Dinner Dance and Fundraiser event that has been held in May during the last few years. The event is usually attended by 200+ Rotarians and members of the public. The auctions held during the event generate funds that will be spent entirely on projects in the community or the World.
Since 2015, the club has decided to stage the dinner dance event closer to Summer and also to choose a specific theme for the fundraiser. In 2015 the theme was “Denim & Diamonds”. Our guests dined on BBQ Chicken and Roasted Suckling Pig and the entertainment was provided by Peachland’s own Marty Edwards and the Revival.
The theme for the 2016 fundraiser was “British Invasion” in honour of the contribution British music bands have made to the music scene. The fare was British: Roast Beef, Yorkshire Pudding and Trifle for dessert. Music entertainment by the band Easy Fix. Everyone had a great time with many guests coming dressed in 70s costumes.
Please be generous when Rotarians knock on your door and ask for a donation toward the auction or offer to sell your tickets to the Annual Dinner Dance. 100% of the proceeds of the fundraiser will be used for projects in the following Rotary Year.
