District 5060 News Letter

Important Reminders

1) RLI (Rotary Leadership Institute) – This fantastic program is being offered once again this spring.  It’s strongly recommended that all presidents, president elects and other club leaders take this course.  There are three all day courses on Saturday March 17, March 31 and April 14 covering sessions 1, 2 and 3.   If you cannot make all three of these dates, please consider taking the course dates that you can and then fill in the missing session in the fall.   These sessions are for the northern part of the district and will be held in Kelowna.  RLI training is also being scheduled for the south – stay tuned.  More information on the website.  Click Here

2) Outbound Training for Youth Exchange Students in Naramata April 14 and 15.  If you are involved in your clubs Youth Exchange program, please ensure your students, both inbound and outbound, are registered for this event and have the required transportation.   Online registration invitation have been sent, but if you did not receive it, you can manually register on the website .  Note, go to the website regardless to find out more about your Youth Exchange Program.

3) District Conference – This will be held in Penticton this year.  Please register and plan to come, especially if you are new to Rotary as this will really open your eyes as to what Rotary is all about.  The speaker line up this year looks outstanding.  Sign up today before the event fills up.  Click Here .

Note: Deadline for the next newsletter is March 19.
